Great to meet you!

Hi, and welcome to my profile! So glad you stopped by. I am by nature a warm and caring person who is genuinely interested in people, their life experiences, and their quality of life. I have used that natural compassion to craft a fulfilling career as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State. Your concerns that brought you to seek therapy, become my concerns. Together we find the best ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe that all people possess an inner wisdom. My primary role as your counselor would be to accompany and join with you on your journey of self discovery. I utilize a variety of therapeutic tools, techniques, and styles to achieve our goals. My one expectation is that you be open and willing to do the work needed to bring you to healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

In this very busy world in which we live, many people just want to be heard. Many clients have told me that they feel heard, understood and validated by our time together. Often they leave a session talking about how much lighter and less burdened they feel. Renewed hope is often the result of our discussions.
