Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York who provides a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to help you build practical skills and create meaningful change. I believe therapy should meet you where you are, honor your individual strengths and values, and help you move toward the life you want to live. For clients who desire it, Christian faith and values can also be thoughtfully integrated into therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you as an individual. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to help you understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools for moving forward. My style is supportive but active—I’ll meet you where you are while also encouraging you to explore challenges, recognize your strengths, and take meaningful steps toward your goals. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and work toward lasting, meaningful change. Christian faith and values can also be incorporated into our work if that is important to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope will be different in your life. Together, we’ll begin identifying meaningful and realistic goals while also recognizing the strengths you already bring with you. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll move forward at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
