Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 14 years of nursing experience, including extensive experience in psychiatric and behavioral health care. I have a passion for helping people feel heard, understood, and supported.

I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, substance use concerns, and other mental health challenges.

My approach is compassionate, personal, and collaborative. I believe every person’s story is unique, and I take the time to understand your needs, experiences, and goals.

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and taking the next step toward better mental health and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest about what they are going through.

My approach combines evidence-based treatment with individualized care. I take the time to listen, answer questions, and provide education about diagnoses and treatment options, including the potential benefits and risks of medications, so that we can make informed decisions together.

Most importantly, I want my clients to know that they do not have to navigate their mental health journey alone. My goal is to support each person in developing practical strategies, building on their strengths, and taking meaningful steps toward feeling better and improving their overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, comfortable, and judgment-free space where we can get to know each other. I’ll take time to listen to your concerns, understand what you have been experiencing, learn about your mental health and medical history, and talk about what you hope to accomplish through treatment.

We’ll discuss your symptoms, current medications and treatment history, as well as factors that may be affecting your emotional well-being. I’ll answer your questions and explain my recommendations in a way that is easy to understand.

Most importantly, you will have an opportunity to be heard. We’ll work together to identify your goals and develop an individualized treatment plan that feels appropriate for you. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the steps ahead.
