Great to meet you!

I believe firmly that everyone needs and deserves to feel heard. We will talk, and I will mostly listen, but I will take an active role in helping guide our time together toward deep exploration and, when necessary, honest confrontation of difficult truth. I am dynamic, have a good sense of humor, and a lot of patience.

My approach to therapy

We will start with what troubles you most. Maybe you've just experienced something awful, or maybe it happened a long time ago, and now is the time to face it. Maybe you're worried about what's happened or what's to come. Maybe you're just tired of waking up feeling miserable. We will treat this as the beginning, and we will talk about where you want to go. Then we will slowly wind our way towards getting there, collaboratively, with insight and with creativity.

What you can expect from me

My main focus will be to create a space for us to examine your thoughts and feelings. I operate in a manner that feels safe enough to open up while still allowing for growth and challenge. You can expect to walk away with a new framework for looking at the same issues you're facing, and hopefully a couple of tools to try, but mostly, I hope to help you walk away with a sense of relief and content.
