Great to meet you!

My name is Ruth Osondu, MD, MPH. I work with Okorafor Psychiatry. I specialize in adult psychiatry as well as Child and Adolescent psychiatry. I am passionate about normalizing mental health and increasing mental health awareness especially in underserved communities. I am naturally very positive and believe that with the combination of therapy and medication you can begin your journey to healing.

I hope you have a wonderful experience working with me and I look

forward to meeting you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style of care is a combination of therapy and medication management at every session. I believe is empowering my patients to be the best version of themselves. And help them recognize their weakness, which they can turn into strength.

What you can expect from our first session

Patient can expect a concise review of their medication at every session. I also expect to know my patient there by applying biopsychosocial model to every visit. I also believe in patient honesty which makes for a better patient-doctor relationship.

Ruth's style is
