Great to meet you!

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and passionate about working with couples and families. I am a wife, mother of 3, and Army Veteran. I love the outdoors, hiking, and gardening.

My approach to therapy

Life and relationships have lots of ups and downs. So many different factors impact our ability to manage the challenges and stressors we face. Coping skills that work well in one situation or relationship may not work well in another. Having a diverse toolbox of coping skills, building resilience, understanding our relationships, focusing on our strengths & what is important, as well as what we have control of can help us get through challenging and stressful times.

I specialize in Marriage & Family Therapy and use Family Systems as my primary treatment approach. In therapy we look at attachment styles, relationships, roles, communication, and gain an understanding of how our family system impacts us as individuals, as well as how we as individuals impact our family system and other systems (work, school) around us.

Seeking help means allowing yourself to be vulnerable, which can be very scary when you are already struggling. I believe seeking help is a courageous act and allowing yourself to be vulnerable is an important aspect of growth. Finding a good fit provider is crucial to the success in therapy. I look forward to speaking with you to discuss needs and fit.
