Great to meet you!

I bring over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to adults. It’s important to me to understand what is important to you, and work together towards resolving symptoms and challenges like anxiety, depression, self-defeating behaviors, parenting and family challenges, relationships issues, navigating life transitions, post-traumatic stress. I received my Masters of Social Work degree from Smith College, and I have completed advanced clinical psychoanalytic psychodynamic training from The Training Institute for Mental Health.

My approach to therapy

I am a relational psychodynamic psychotherapist. My goal is to foster a collaborative environment to identify and understand the concerns that bring an individual to psychotherapy. In a relational approach, we work together to identify areas of your life where you face challenges, repeat negative patterns, and have a desire to make positive changes.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will begin to explore what your initial goals are for psychotherapy and decide together what is important to focus on first. The first session is my opportunity to begin to understand you and learn about your life. We will also take some time for you to ask any questions you may have about psychotherapy.
