Great to meet you!

I have been a counselor for over thirty years, working in various settings with diverse populations. My priority is highly ethical practice in which you feel safe, heard, and understood. I don't have all the answers for the problems we may discuss, but my long personal and professional life experience enables me to quickly build trust, explore solutions, and encourage hope and strength as you face difficult circumstances.

My approach to therapy

I have a good array of tools and resources to help you make progress with your goals. But my main emphasis will be getting to know you as a human being, discovering and drawing out your strengths, and being a trusted partner in your growth. I love helping people discover new perspectives. I never impose my beliefs on clients, but I am qualified to offer an integration of Christian faith in your sessions if you desire it.

What you can expect from me

My primary goal is that our sessions will impart hope and courage through the opportunity to work through thoughts and feelings in a very safe atmosphere. It will help to know that you don't have to manage your problems alone.
