I love working with people. It is real - it is rewarding because it is real. These are people who are willing to open themselves up and be vulnerable and honest. I've been counseling people for many years and consider myself lucky to be able to do this work.
I am kind and direct. In addiion to individual and family counseling I have years of dealing with trauma lived by victms of domestic violence, sexual abuse and victims of crime.
In our firsw session I will be asking why you are seeking counseling. I will listen and gather history. Usually there is an issue that occurred recently. And under this incident usually lies a pattern that suggests a lifelong issue. My aim is to connect and encourage their own interest in themselves.
