Great to meet you!

Hi there! Everyone needs someone who believes in them, especially when you may be going through difficult times. Being a California-licensed therapist and yoga teacher-- and more importantly a fellow human being--I'm here to join with you in creating the kind of life you want to have. I have specialized training and experience with prenatal and postpartum moms. However, I also enjoy working with students, corporate workers, healthcare workers, and anyone who is motivated for therapy.

My approach to therapy

I think of therapy as your mental wellness gym-- a safe protected space where you can set goals, learn about yourself, get active, practice new skills, experiment with new behaviors, challenge yourself, reward yourself, and transform. Therapy can be more than just talking about problems. We can make the healing process creative, connective, and even fun, by working with your body and mind instead of against them using a variety of tools.

What you can expect from me

While every session is unique, you can expect any given session to have some of the following: checking in, setting intentions, slowing down, conscious breathing, guided meditation, drawing, writing, movement, role plays, and practical skill building. And just talking.

As a result of therapy, you may start feeling calmer, clearer and more in charge of your inner experience. You may be using more coping skills and life may become more enjoyable.

If this speaks to you, feel free to reach out!
