Great to meet you!
Hello!
A little about who I am. I started school with a focus on computer science and served in the United States Army before finally circling back and getting my Bachelor's and Master's degree in social work. I did an internship in Victim Services at the DA's office, and also an internship at the Department of Veterans Affairs. I have now been working in addiction therapy for over five years and have carefully, and empathetically entered into client's stories when it comes to helping them through various issues contributing to their addiction. This includes working through issues such as anxiety, depression, severe trauma, and lack of resources and support. I am trained in and utilize EMDR therapy, and also have experience with DBT, ACT, CBT, and mindfulness practices.
