Great to meet you!

I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology at Colorado State University and my master's in clinical mental health counseling at Kent State University. I have experiencing working with adolescents in a residential treatment facility and have spent the last three years working with individuals ages 7-75 in a community mental health organization with a wide range of diagnoses. I spent the first several years of my career focusing on working with children with ADHD and their families at an internship through the Cleveland Clinic. I specialize in behavioral concerns, interpersonal conflict, ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and stress management. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, TV, and sports, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where people feel safe and comfortable. I am a direct communicator who is always willing to be a flexible as I can be to accommodate clients and make the counseling space as accessible as possible. I specialize in behavioral therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, while also using techniques from adlerian therapy, solution focused therapy, and rational emotive behavior therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

I give every session my full, undivided attention and always ensure privacy and confidentiality. I bring an attitude of non-judgement and open-mindedness in an effort to help every client feel heard, understood, and validated after our sessions.
