Great to meet you!

I have a warm personality and fairly broad training that has lead me to a holistic approach for therapy. In addition to a masters degree in clinical social work training in EDMR, Gottman therapy, hypnosis, yoga, meditation, bodywork, somatic trauma therapy, breathwork, and herbalism have all informed my understanding of health and what it means to be well.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to provide education, resources, and training to my clients so they're able to digest life without getting overwhelmed. We build a rapport and as I get to know people I focus on helping them by starting where they are right now. We identify the most important obstacle (not necessarily the biggest) and work on that while developing skills and tools that will aid in other obstacles. As my clients grow in their abilities and confidence to handle life, they find their relationships with themselves, their bodies, their friends, family, and phones improve. They spend more time with people they love and less time on screens. They find greater satisfaction in life and are less overwhelmed by life's difficulties.

What you can expect from me

I'm going to do my best to create an environment where you'll learn to feel safer in your body, with your emotions, and with the difficult emotions of others. I'll do my best to help you feel more comfortable with yourself and your place in life by offering a sincerely non-judgmental place to be yourself as well as learn more about yourself.
