Great to meet you!

As an LICSW since 2024 who has been in practice since 2021, I've worked with people from many different backgrounds and life circumstances, meeting each client exactly where they are. My practice focuses heavily on navigating major life transitions, managing anxiety and depression, and reconciling with grief. I also work extensively with the LGBTQ+ community. As a queer person myself, I understand the significant psychological, interpersonal, and societal pressures associated with living true to who you are, and I'm here to help you find deeper understanding wherever you are on your journey with gender or sexuality.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should feel like an actual conversation. My goal is to create a welcoming, collaborative environment where you can get straight to the heart of the matter. Through a culturally conscious, psychodynamic lens, I help adults understand how past events and relationships shape their present experiences. Ultimately, I want to help you find the clarity you need to build a life that works for you.

What you can expect from me

I use the first session as an open conversation, an opportunity for us to get a sense of what the therapeutic process will look like. I'll ask a bit about what's been going on and what you hope to get from therapy, but just as much, I want you to get to know me, as well. Mostly, I want you to feel comfortable to speak freely and ask questions. In return, you can expect full support, understanding, and honest feedback. I won't patronize you or tell you what I think you want to hear; I truly want the first session to build the foundation of your success.
