Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I'm Ryan Carr, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, and psychotic disorders. My background includes years of psychiatric nursing in both inpatient and outpatient settings, caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health needs. I believe the best treatment starts with feeling heard, respected, and involved in your care. Together, we'll create a personalized plan focused on helping you feel better and achieve your goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care works best when it feels like a partnership. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and focused on understanding the whole person—not just a diagnosis. I work closely with clients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, combining evidence-based medication management with education, lifestyle factors, coping skills, and practical strategies that support long-term mental wellness. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, or psychotic symptoms, my goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and supported throughout your treatment journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where we take time to discuss your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and treatment goals. My goal is to develop a clear understanding of what you're experiencing and how it is affecting your daily life. Together, we'll review potential treatment options, answer any questions you may have, and create a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and preferences. By the end of the visit, you'll have a better understanding of your symptoms, treatment recommendations, and next steps moving forward.
