Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated, trauma-informed clinician. I am passionate about helping clients and families develop skills to enhance their well-being and face life’s challenges. I provide treatment that is both evidence-based and affirming. Much of my theoretical framework is rooted in a humanistic approach influenced by systems theory, attachment theory, and feminist theory. I utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and mindfulness to help create comprehensive treatments.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my 5+ years of experience as a marriage and family therapist, I have spent most of my time supporting survivors and their families of gun violence, human trafficking, community violence, domestic violence, and sexual violence. I also serve the LGBTQIA+ community in providing letters of support for hormone replacement therapy, top surgery, and bottom surgery. My expertise in supporting specific disorders include autism, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

What you can expect from our first session

Therapy can be both transformative and validating in navigating the adversities of life, identity, and community. Part of this journey is discovering the pieces of ourselves that are born out of survival and finding pieces that lend insight to our authentic selves. Our goal will be to do this in a way that feels safe and nurturing.
