Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping men and women heal from past trauma, navigate relationship issues and manage daily stress. I also have experience supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression and managing life’s heavier moments. Regardless of where you find yourself in life or what you might be facing, I'm here to hold safe space for you & whatever you might need. We will work together to build trust, set achievable goals and help you towards healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, collaborative, and the modalities that I use are grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I lean heavily on CBT because of its strong research base and effectiveness across concerns like depression, anxiety, trauma, and insomnia. I use EMDR and a Person Centered approach to help clients identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking, and build practical skills. The sessions are active and goal-oriented, focused on helping clients gain clarity, strengthen emotional regulation, and together we will create measurable goals that clients can progress both in and outside of therapy. The methods that we will use in session will be from a person centered approach. The methods that will be used will be the issues that the clients want to work on in our first session and build treatment goals around.

What you can expect from me

It can be scary to be vulnerable in a first session with a therapist who is a stranger. I promise that as my client you will feel eased in our session. We will talk about what you as the client want to discuss and work on. In our first session, you can expect a structured and focused conversation designed to understand what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to change. We’ll clarify your goals, identify current stressors, and begin exploring patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors through a strong CBT lens. I’ll ask thoughtful, targeted questions to help us build a clear roadmap for treatment rather than staying vague or surface-level. You’ll leave with greater clarity about your challenges — and often a practical strategy or reflection to begin working on right away. After our first session then our therapeutic format will be to identify the problem that you want to work on. Identify problems and treatment goals.
