Hello, my name is Ryan Myers, and I have been a nurse practitioner for the past six years. I received my education from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and have a Master of Science in Nursing. I have treated patients with a wide array of psychiatric issues, but I primarily specialize in treating depression, anxiety and ADHD.
I like to work with my patients as a team. I prefer to view them as the captain of their ship and I'm the navigator that helps them stay on course. It is only through mutual trust that we will arrive at the destination we both want to be at.
I like to measure the success of my patients based on real world outcomes. For instance, if a patient is depressed and hasn't been engaging in a beloved hobby but after treatment, they begin engaging again I consider that a win. In short, I want to see my patients live the best life they possibly can.
