Great to meet you!

Ryan Nordin, LCSW, received his Master of Social Work in 2020 and is currently completing a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology at Arizona State University. He works with children, adolescents, and adults ages 4 and older, providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of mental health concerns. His therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), psychoeducation, and strengths-based interventions to promote insight, symptom reduction, and improved overall functioning.

My approach to therapy

Ryan believes that meaningful change occurs within a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. His approach is warm, compassionate, and person-centered, creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences. Through thoughtful reflection and gentle insight, he helps clients increase self-awareness, identify patterns, and build on their existing strengths while working toward their personal goals.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship. We will discuss your personal history, current concerns, and the goals you hope to achieve through therapy. You can also expect to learn about the therapeutic process, ask questions, and collaborate on developing a plan that feels comfortable and tailored to your individual needs.
