Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ryan and I’m here to help. I’ve been a therapist for just about a decade now and I still love it. After getting my Master’s degree in Social Work from ASU, I spent the next 7 years in community mental health before making the jump to private practice 4 years ago. As a therapist I’ve come to believe that the overwhelming majority our problems are tied to our traumatic experiences, big and small. And while I do focus on trauma, I regularly treat people for anxiety, depression, men's issues. and family conflicts.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is pretty straightforward; to help you have the best therapy experience possible. Whether that means helping you achieve your goals or simply helping you determine what your goals are, it's your experience and your results that matter most. What you can expect from me is someone who isn't stuffy, takes the job but not themselves seriously, is fluent in sarcasm and won't flinch if you cuss like a sailor in session. I pride myself on being collaborative and transparent. When we do something, we do it together and because we both think it's the best thing for you at that time.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel supported, empowered, and understood after a session with me. We will set your goals and come up with a plan to achieve them together. Don't believe you can change? I've got enough belief in you for the both of us.
