Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Viterbo University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin. My experience includes outpatient therapy, integrated behavioral health, and working with adolescents and adults navigating mental health and substance use concerns. I enjoy helping people work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I believe people are more than their symptoms or past experiences, and I strive to create a space where you can feel understood, accepted, and supported in making meaningful changes. Outside of therapy, I value time in nature, movement, and creative expression, which continue to shape my appreciation for the many ways people heal and grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding yourself rather than judging yourself. I draw from approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), parts work, somatic techniques, and trauma-informed care, tailoring therapy to your needs and goals. I’m interested in helping you understand the patterns behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, including how stress and past experiences can shape the way you feel and respond to the world. I’m also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an approach that can help people work through distressing experiences. Together, we can build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and capable of moving toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been challenging, what you hope will change, and what has or hasn’t been helpful in the past. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. I’ll ask questions, listen to your experiences, and make space for you to share at your own pace. We’ll begin identifying goals and discussing how we might work together. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, respected, and heard, without pressure to share more than you’re ready for.
