Great to meet you!

If you’re used to being the one who holds it together—but lately it’s getting harder—you’re not alone. Anxiety, burnout, and constant overthinking can make even high-functioning people feel stuck, exhausted, or on edge.

I work with adults and adolescents who are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are people who are used to pushing through challenges but are starting to feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from how they want to feel. For adults, it often presents as racing thoughts, irritability, sleep difficulties, or a sense that something is “off,” even when life appears stable. For adolescents, this may include emotional dysregulation, behavioral concerns, school stress, or difficulty navigating family and peer relationships.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we focus on practical, effective strategies to help you feel more in control—whether that’s managing anxiety, addressing substance use, improving emotional regulation, setting boundaries, or strengthening relationships. My approach is straightforward, supportive, and tailored to you—not one-size-fits-all.

I bring extensive experience in psychiatric hospital care and addiction treatment settings, supporting individuals through crisis, relapse, and emotional instability. This informs a calm, grounded, and solutions-focused approach to care.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you can expect a supportive and low-pressure space to talk about what led you to therapy. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing current concerns, and reviewing relevant background information at a pace that feels comfortable.

My priority is helping clients feel safe, respected, and understood. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and next steps, so you leave with a clearer sense of what our work together may look like.
