Great to meet you!
I believe one of the most courageous things a person can do is decide that their story does not have to end where their pain began. My role as a therapist is to create a space where you can be heard, understood, challenged, and supported as you work toward becoming the person you want to be.
I hold a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Education and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). My professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, life transitions, and other emotional and behavioral challenges.
More than anything, I want my clients to know that I see the person before I see the diagnosis. You are more than your symptoms, your mistakes, your circumstances, or the difficult experiences you have survived. Therapy with me is about understanding where you have been while helping you develop the insight, confidence, skills, and courage to determine where you go next.
