Great to meet you!
I decided to become a mental health counselor when I was working as a teacher with students with exceptional needs. I found I wanted to help these students in more than just education, so I took the leap into the counseling field and haven't looked back.
Today, I work primarily with children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism, or Specific Learning Disabilities to help them be successful in and out of school. In this work, the family is crucial and I connect with the parents frequently.
In addition to working with children and adolescents, I continue to work with those with exceptional needs through adulthood.
