Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling anxious, emotionally stuck, or weighed down by self-doubt, beginning therapy can feel both hopeful and intimidating. Choosing to commit to your emotional well-being is a meaningful step, and whether this is your first experience with therapy or you’re returning, I’m glad you’re here. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, mood concerns, self-esteem challenges, identity questions, and the lasting impact of family or cultural patterns. My approach is collaborative and thoughtful, helping you clarify your values, understand your inner world, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others.

Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and a holistic perspective, I’ll support you in building practical coping tools while also recognizing and reinforcing the strengths you already carry. Therapy with me is about creating space for insight, growth, and self-trust.

When we work together, my hope is that you experience warmth, curiosity, and grounded expertise. I believe that honesty, transparency, and clear boundaries are what make therapy feel safe, effective, and genuinely collaborative.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I focus on helping clients better understand their emotional and behavioral patterns, strengthen coping skills, and develop insight into how past experiences influence present challenges.

I integrate evidence-based strategies such as cognitive and behavioral therapy, emotion regulation skills (including DBT-informed techniques), and supportive psychotherapy. Therapy with me is active and engaged, with an emphasis on emotional safety.

I aim to create a space where clients can reflect honestly without fear of judgment and make changes that feel sustainable and aligned with their values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and structured environment. We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to get out of the process.

Together, we’ll identify initial goals and discuss what therapy might look like moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported and clear about next steps.
