Great to meet you!

I help clients understand how their experiences shape their present struggles and help build internal safety, self-understanding, and resilience.

My work is especially suited for individuals who have experienced trauma and feel its effects in their daily lives. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or others, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. Trauma can leave people feeling alone, misunderstood, invisible, or unsafe—even within their own bodies and minds.

I often work with clients navigating complex trauma, trauma-related addiction, abuse specializing in DV/IPV, neurodivergent and identity struggles, anxiety, and depression. Many are individuals who have spent years surviving difficult experiences and are now seeking a deeper level of healing, understanding, and stability.

Clients who tend to benefit most from working with me are those who want more than symptom relief—they want to understand themselves more deeply and build a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and connected. Their goals often include feeling safer in their own bodies, reducing emotional reactivity and overwhelm, improving relationships, and developing a stronger sense of identity and self-trust.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I create a compassionate and collaborative space where you can show up fully as yourself. Using evidence-based approaches—including experiential, somatic therapies, psychodynamic work, and cognitive-behavioral strategies—I help clients build internal safety, process trauma, reduce distress, and reconnect with their resilience and strengths.

My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life. Instead, I provide tools, support, and thoughtful guidance as you explore your experiences, heal what has been painful, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and fulfilling. My ultimate goal is that you leave therapy knowing your own strength, resilience, and capacity to shape the life you want.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, supportive, and trauma-informed space where safety, trust, and collaboration are prioritized. The session will focus on getting to know you as a whole person—your concerns, goals, strengths, and current stressors—while moving at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful. I will gather relevant background information, discuss how past experiences may be impacting you in the present, and begin identifying treatment priorities that align with your needs and values. You will not be expected to share traumatic details; instead, the emphasis is on stabilization, understanding, and creating an individualized, evidence-based path forward that supports resilience, healing, and meaningful long-term change.
