Great to meet you!

Change is hard, even when people want it. Therefore, it’s important to collaborate with clients to find out what they have already tried, what those experiences were like and identify what clients need. Also, although uncomfortable, the status quo is familiar and many clients will benefit from support in developing new patterns and better ways of relating.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have varied experience in providing behavioral health services. I have provided services in in a hospital setting (psychiatric unit), a I have worked with clients in academic, community and in-patient hospital settings. The backgrounds, cultures and lived realities of these clients and patients have been varied. Each of my previous clients has represented a unique collection of characteristics, strengths and beliefs.
