Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatric care, and case management. I hold a master’s degree in Addiction Counseling and have worked with individuals navigating substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health concerns, life transitions, and recovery. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful space where clients can speak openly, feel understood, and work toward meaningful and realistic change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, direct, and individualized. I believe clients deserve both support and honesty, so I provide a nonjudgmental space while also being straightforward about patterns, barriers, and choices that may be getting in the way of progress. I use a strengths-based and person-centered style while incorporating evidence-based strategies such as motivational interviewing, relapse-prevention planning, psychoeducation, and coping-skill development. I work with clients to identify realistic goals, build on their strengths, and create practical steps that support meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental, and honest environment. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, your history, and what you would like to work toward. I am compassionate but also direct, so I will ask thoughtful questions and help you begin identifying patterns, barriers, and strengths that may be affecting your progress. Together, we will establish realistic goals and begin creating a treatment plan that feels practical, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.
