Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sabrina, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Alliant International University, and my professional background includes community mental health and crisis work before moving into private practice.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, life transitions, and women’s issues. I enjoy working with people who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns they may find themselves repeating—even when they’re not quite sure where those patterns came from.

My style is warm, conversational, and down-to-earth. I’m not the kind of therapist who will sit silently and nod for an hour. I’ll listen, ask questions, offer perspective, and sometimes challenge you when I think it could be helpful. I’m interested in the whole person, not just a list of symptoms, and I believe our past experiences, relationships, identities, environments, and the expectations placed on us all play a role in how we experience the world.

You also don’t need to come to therapy knowing exactly what you want to work on or having everything neatly explained. Sometimes figuring that out is part of the work, and we can do that together.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine collaboration. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based therapies while recognizing that no two people have the same story. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and work toward goals that align with your values. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling heard, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, your personal history, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share everything right away. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, have a clearer understanding of how we can work together, and begin creating a plan that supports your goals.
