Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sabrina! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in community mental health, where I've worked with individuals navigating everything from stress and life changes to some of life's more difficult challenges. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and complex mental health concerns, and I am trained in EMDR. I especially enjoy working with people who have felt misunderstood, judged, or like they are somehow "too much." I believe good therapy starts with being able to show up exactly as you are.

My approach to therapy

My style is conversational, collaborative, and down to earth with a health dose of humor when it fits. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, where we can explore the hard stuff, recognize patterns, and occasionally laugh at being human. I draw from approaches like CBT, DBT-informed skills, EMDR, and attachment based concepts. I tailor our work to your needs and meet you where you are.

What you can expect from me

First sessions can be a little awkward, especially when telling a complete stranger about your life. Our first meeting is about getting to know each other, exploring what is bringing you to therapy, and figuring out what you would like to be different. I'll ask questions about your history and current challenges, but there's no pressure to tell your entire story in one sitting. We will talk about your goals, what working together might look like, and make sure you have space to ask questions. You don't need to show up with perfect words or even know when to start. We will figure out out together.
