My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from multiple evidence-informed modalities to meet individuals and families where they are, honoring their strengths, values, and lived experiences. I believe therapy is most effective when it is flexible, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, developmental stage, and goals.
I utilize a combination of cognitive, behavioral, trauma-informed, creative, and strengths-based approaches to support emotional regulation, insight, healing, and meaningful change.
My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centered, drawing from a range of evidence-informed modalities to best support each individual and family. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors while developing healthier coping and problem-solving skills. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is incorporated to strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
For children and families, I incorporate Play Therapy and Art Therapy to provide developmentally appropriate and creative ways to express emotions, process experiences, and build emotional awareness—especially when verbal expression is difficult. I also use trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support individuals in processing distressing experiences and reducing the emotional impact of trauma in a safe and structured way.
In addition, I integrate Solution-Focused Therapy to highlight strengths, resilience, and achievable goals, helping clients move forward in practical and empowering ways. Motivational Interviewing is used collaboratively to support personal motivation, autonomy, and readiness for change. Overall, my approach is flexible, compassionate, and tailored to meet the unique needs, values, and goals of each client.
