Great to meet you!

Hello!! I have a strong focus on working with families and strengthening relational connections. I attended Arizona State University (ASU), where I developed a solid foundation in psychological theory and evidence-informed practice. I currently work with Lantix, supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges with empathy, collaboration, and respect.

I have experience working with individuals from the neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ communities and am committed to providing a therapeutic space that is affirming, respectful, and inclusive. I am especially passionate about helping families reconnect, improve communication, and rebuild trust. I believe healing often happens within relationships, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow together.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from multiple evidence-informed modalities to meet individuals and families where they are, honoring their strengths, values, and lived experiences. I believe therapy is most effective when it is flexible, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, developmental stage, and goals.

I utilize a combination of cognitive, behavioral, trauma-informed, creative, and strengths-based approaches to support emotional regulation, insight, healing, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centered, drawing from a range of evidence-informed modalities to best support each individual and family. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors while developing healthier coping and problem-solving skills. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is incorporated to strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

For children and families, I incorporate Play Therapy and Art Therapy to provide developmentally appropriate and creative ways to express emotions, process experiences, and build emotional awareness—especially when verbal expression is difficult. I also use trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support individuals in processing distressing experiences and reducing the emotional impact of trauma in a safe and structured way.

In addition, I integrate Solution-Focused Therapy to highlight strengths, resilience, and achievable goals, helping clients move forward in practical and empowering ways. Motivational Interviewing is used collaboratively to support personal motivation, autonomy, and readiness for change. Overall, my approach is flexible, compassionate, and tailored to meet the unique needs, values, and goals of each client.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental space where the focus is on getting to know one another. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will also review important information such as confidentiality, the therapy process, and how we can work together. The first session is an opportunity to ask questions, share your story, and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship—there is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer understanding of what therapy with me may look like moving forward.
