Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly three years of experience providing psychiatric care in outpatient and community mental health settings. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent four years as a registered nurse caring for patients with both medical and psychiatric needs. My nursing background has shaped my holistic approach to care and my understanding of how closely physical and mental health are connected.

I work with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds and have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, and other developmental differences. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, PTSD and other trauma-related conditions, depression, PMDD and other women’s mental health concerns, adjustment difficulties, and stress-related conditions. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and can provide psychiatric care in either language.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I take the time to understand your concerns, preferences, and goals while providing guidance and recommendations so we can make thoughtful treatment decisions together. I view medication as one of many tools that can support mental health. When appropriate, I integrate medication management with psychoeducation, evidence-based therapeutic techniques, and lifestyle recommendations. My goal is to develop a treatment plan that feels individualized, realistic, and sustainable for your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to understand what brings you to treatment, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to work on. We’ll talk about your mental health and medical history, medications, lifestyle, and other factors that may be affecting your well-being. You’ll have time to share your concerns, ask questions, and discuss treatment options and recommendations. From there, we’ll work together to develop a plan that aligns with your needs and goals.
