About Me

What should your client know about you?

Hello, I’m Sabrina Polk, LPC, a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 27 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and other life transitions.

My approach is integrative, solution-focused, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another and identify practical strategies to help you overcome obstacles and build resilience.

I believe therapy is most effective when it addresses the whole person. My goal is to help you gain deeper self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life you want to live. Whether you are facing a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I am committed to providing compassionate guidance and support every step of the way.

You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. I look forward to helping you move toward greater healing, balance, and well-being.

What is your approach to therapy?

I provide a supportive and compassionate space where you can explore overwhelming feelings of anxiety, grief, loss, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is holistic and solution-focused, integrating evidence-based techniques such as CBT, MBCT, SFBT, and REBT.

What can clients expect from their first session with you?

I believe therapy should empower you to understand yourself more deeply, develop effective coping skills, and move toward what matters most to you—all within a warm, empathetic environment. During our first session we will explore what your immediate needs are and begin to identify strategies and goals that best suit you. I’m currently accepting new tele-health clients and here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
