Great to meet you!

I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Sabrina (she/her), a Colorado-licensed clinical social worker and a trauma-informed EMDR therapist, offering a steady, compassionate space for healing and growth. At Connecting Roots Counseling, I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions through a grounded, collaborative, and nervous-system-centered approach.

My approach to therapy

My work integrates EMDR, DBT-informed, and parts-based therapy, with somatic and mindfulness practices woven throughout to support mind-body connection and deeper self-understanding. Healing isn’t about perfection; it’s about understanding the patterns that once protected you and building new pathways rooted in clarity, regulation, and self-trust.

What you can expect from me

The intake session is a one-hour meeting designed to help me understand why you are seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve from it. During this session, we will explore your personal history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. This session provides an opportunity for us to build rapport, clarify your needs, and collaboratively determine the best path forward for your healing journey.
