Great to meet you!

I have a passion for working with couples and families. I have extensive evidenced based training and provide couples counseling using Gottman Method Couples Therapy and many other therapeutic interventions. My goal is to help couples to rebuild a stronger foundation in their relationship; one in which they can experience true friendship, intimacy, and passion. In addition to working with couples and families, I work empathetically with individuals seeking a new path to personal development and emotional healing. I believe that each person has unique strengths and ideals that need to be supported and nurtured to create lifelong health and happiness. So, if you are currently feeling alone and isolated in your struggle and vulnerable while dealing with your personal traumatic experiences; childhood sexual trauma/molestation, intimate partner violence, verbal, and emotional abuse and workplace challenges; please reach out to me. If you are questioning your parenting and feel that you are failing in important life roles, please consider reaching out. You do not have to be alone.

As your therapist it is important for you to know that I am a practicing Christian and deeply rooted in my faith. I believe that one’s faith can be a source of strength while navigating difficult times. I can offer a Christian perspective in conjunction with evidence based therapeutic interventions if this is something you will find helpful. My goal is not to force my beliefs or practices onto you as I practice from a non-judgmental stance.

My approach to therapy

My approach in warm and safe. I am here to walk with you in what may seem your darkest moment and to offer you a safe place to address issues that are keeping you from living your best life. My life's journey of helping others is a valuable and meaningful pursuit that hopefully enriches the lives of others. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.

What you can expect from me

I want to get to know you and your needs. We will discuss what you hope to achieve through therapy. Whether it involves improving communication, addressing past experiences, or managing challenges, we will work collaboratively to define your goals for our time together. Towards the end of the session, we will talk about potential next steps, including how often we might meet and any reflections you might consider between sessions. The first session is also an opportunity for you to determine if this therapeutic approach feels like a good fit for you.
