Great to meet you!

I believe mental health is connected to the whole person. Your emotional well-being is intertwined with your physical health, relationships, environment, past experiences, stress levels, and even the pace of your daily life. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work to understand the whole person, creating meaningful and sustainable change that fosters healing, restoration, and greater alignment between your values, purpose, and everyday life.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With more than a decade of clinical experience in crisis stabilization, inpatient substance use treatment, private practice, and behavioral health leadership within a correctional setting, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, addiction, mood disorders, and major life transitions, experiencing symptoms such as chronic stress, excessive worry, racing thoughts, panic attacks, burnout, grief, low self-esteem, sleep disturbances, anger, emotional numbness, relationship conflict, and feeling overwhelmed by the demands of daily life. These experiences allow me to meet clients with compassion, clinical expertise, and practical strategies tailored to their unique needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is empowering, collaborative, and direct, while remaining compassionate and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, within a whole-person framework that recognizes the connection between your mind, body, relationships, and life experiences. In addition to addressing emotional and behavioral concerns, I pay attention to factors such as sleep patterns, stress management, physical health, nutrition, coping patterns, and relational dynamics, since these all play an important role in emotional well-being.

For clients who desire it, I am also happy to incorporate faith into the counseling process in a way that aligns with their personal beliefs and values.

What you can expect from me

Together, we will work to reduce anxiety and depression, build confidence, strengthen boundaries, improve relationships, and develop tools that help you navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and clarity. Healing is not about becoming someone different—it's about removing the barriers that keep you from your fullest potential.
