Great to meet you!

Hello!! I’m an Art Therapist who integrates meditation, somatic practices, and parts work to support clients through life transitions, trauma, crisis, burnout, and dissociation. I’m Latinx, nonbinary (agender), and bring lived experience that helps me connect on a deeper level. I'm also body-positive, sex-positive, and deeply affirming of queer, trans, and neurodivergent experiences.

If you’ve never tried art therapy before, or you're curious about how it works — I’d love to talk more about it. Art therapy isn’t about being “good at art”; it’s about using creative expression to explore what’s going on internally, especially when words aren’t enough.

Some things we might do in session include:

🖍 Drawing a permission slip for yourself

🌿 Imagining and illustrating yourself as a plant

💫 Using your body and movement to show what joy looks like on a page

✊ Designing an activism sign for a cause you care about

🏡 Going outside to create a home using natural objects, building a space that feels like safety

Each session is different because each person is different. My goal is to offer you a space that’s gentle, curious, and collaborative—where we can co-create a healing process that actually fits you.

My approach to therapy

I’m a very relational therapist and really focus on what might support you specifically. My approach looks different for everyone because I tailor it to your needs, not a set formula. Some folks find grounding and meditation helpful, while others are drawn to the custom visualizations I write—ones that guide you through imaginary landscapes where you can explore emotions, trauma, or different parts of yourself in a creative and safe way. We’ll figure out together what feels right, and I’ll meet you there.

What you can expect from me

I try to stay as informed as I can about mental health and genuinely love sharing what I learn with clients. When I was younger and went to therapy, I often didn’t know what we were doing—it felt like we were just talking. Now that I’m on the other side of the room, I care a lot about helping people understand what’s happening in therapy—where the theories come from, how culture and systems affect our mental health, and why certain approaches might actually work.

I’m straightforward and honest. I want you to feel affirmed, not talked down to. I think what I try to offer is a shift in perspective—a chance to uncover insights about yourself that were already there, just waiting to be seen. I believe therapy should be collaborative: I’ll bring my tools and experience, and you’ll bring your inner wisdom. We’ll figure it out together.
