Great to meet you!

If you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, or a major life transition, therapy can provide a supportive space to slow down, feel heard, and better understand what you need. You deserve a place where you can be yourself, speak openly, and feel supported without judgment.

I’m Sade Lauture, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with more than a decade of experience in the mental health and human services field. My background includes outpatient therapy, community mental health, and supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Wheelock College in Boston, now part of Boston University.

My approach is warm, relaxed, and intentional. I combine compassion and understanding with thoughtful reflection and practical support tailored to your goals. I’ll help you recognize your strengths, explore new perspectives, and take meaningful steps toward positive change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing, while incorporating trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. Together, we'll explore challenges, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful growth and change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other, explore what matters most to you, and discuss where you'd like to go. I believe you're the captain of your own ship, and my role is to be a supportive partner and guide as you navigate life's changing waters. Together, we'll build on your strengths and work toward the life you envision.
