Dr. Jawad is a board-certified psychiatrist with advanced training in both psychiatry and addiction medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds additional board certification in Addiction Medicine, reflecting his commitment to treating the full spectrum of mental health and substance use concerns.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Jawad has held an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor, where he trained psychiatry residents and medical students, contributed to medical education, and participated in quality improvement initiatives. His background includes specialized training in multiple therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic approaches, as well as TMS and ECT.
