Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with emerging adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, especially experiences connected to family of origin and attachment. I have a special interest in supporting college, graduate, and medical students as they manage the emotional and relational challenges that can come with these stages of life.

I’m genuinely interested in the experiences and relationships that shape how you see yourself and move through the world. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being open, exploring your thoughts and emotions, and making sense of what you’re going through at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed. I see you as the expert on your own life, and we work together to better understand how your past experiences may be influencing your current challenges.

I draw from psychodynamic, relational, and attachment-based therapies to help deepen insight and self-awareness. I also integrate practical tools from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and emotion-focused approaches, so you can build skills that support lasting change, not just in session, but in your everyday life.

Above all, I bring curiosity, compassion, and a nonjudgmental presence to our work together.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process.

You can expect a supportive, low-pressure conversation where you don’t have to have everything figured out. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, and we’ll start to explore what feels most important to focus on moving forward.

Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions, and that’s completely normal. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more at ease about the process.
