Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Sage Coler, a licensed clinical psychologist who believes in each person’s capacity to draw upon their strengths to create meaningful, positive change. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, primary care, college counseling centers, and with military members and their families. I have particular experience helping individuals navigate grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationships. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools to move toward the life they want.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to provide compassionate, collaborative, and practical support.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work toward, and what has been happening in your life. We’ll talk about your personal history and current concerns while beginning to identify patterns, strengths, and areas for growth. I’ll also explain how I approach therapy and work collaboratively with you to identify goals that feel meaningful and manageable. Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity to begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
