Great to meet you!
I'm Saima Hanif, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing evidence-based psychiatric care across the lifespan. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Western University of Health Sciences and completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's Certificate at California State University, Los Angeles. I am currently furthering my education as I pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at California State University, Los Angeles, reflecting my ongoing commitment to growth and excellence in this field.
I work with patients ages 10 and older, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, of all genders. My background is rooted in outpatient psychiatry, where I have developed strong experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and providing thoughtful, individualized medication management.
I have particular expertise in treating ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, insomnia and sleep-related concerns, OCD, autism spectrum disorder, and bipolar disorder, along with a range of other mental health concerns. Whether someone is navigating a new diagnosis or managing a condition they have lived with for years, I bring both clinical knowledge and genuine compassion to our work together.
I believe in collaborative treatment planning, meaning your voice and preferences remain central to every decision we make. I take time to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, discuss the reasoning behind my recommendations, and ensure you feel informed and empowered throughout the process. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, but is equally shaped by curiosity about who you are as a person, not simply the symptoms that brought you to seek support.
I am committed to delivering patient-centered care that respects your individuality, values your input, and adapts as your needs evolve.
