Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Sakile Wulbrecht (she, her, hers) and I'm excited to take this journey with you! As a board certified licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) I believe mental health is key to overall wellness and happiness. Asking for help is often the hardest part, so I'm proud of you for prioritizing yourself and taking this step. I have been practicing for about 5 years and have mainly specialized in working with children and families, due to my experience and background in Child Development and working within the school system. However, I also have experience, and I am open to, work with all ages and backgrounds. I have worked with individuals struggling with various issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I strive to be a partner along with you in this journey. I am here to support, listen to, and even challenge you at times, but never to judge. Once we decide to work together, I hope therapy will become a safe space to be yourself and to share openly and honestly. My approach to therapy is integrative, combining insights from various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Art Therapy, etc. My integrative approach better allows me to create a personalized experience for each client, based on the client's individual needs. My approach is also culturally sensitive, as I strive to uplift and support marginalized communities in my work.

What you can expect from me

The first few sessions we will have the opportunity to get to know each other. You will have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We will work together to establish your goals! I strive to create an affirming and safe environment where you can feel comfortable sharing yourself with me. In our future sessions, we will focus on achieving your outlined goals. You are more than capable of achieving your goals!
