Great to meet you!

Hey! My name is Saleem Hallal and I'm a clinical mental health counselor. I studied holistic counseling theories at Lesley University with a focus on seeing the whole person in front of me. I've worked in schools, community organizing, and outpatient mental health. I work with people from a variety of backgrounds, but I specialize in ADHD and relationships across all ages.

My approach to therapy

It is my utmost priority to build a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship before working any specific modality. I listen, reflect, and seek to understand with unconditional positive regard. I specialize in narrative therapy, designed to uncover the story you tell yourself and how it affects your mood, functioning, and dreams. I can design a structured treatment plan and work with the flexibility everyday life demands.

What you can expect from me

From the very first session, you can expect to be heard. My job is to understand you and help you to bring your inner wisdom forward. My goal is to co-create a nutritive and supportive environment.
