Great to meet you!

My name is Sally Goh. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. I hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, specializing in trauma work. Before transitioning to private practice, I gained extensive experience as a community-based addiction counselor working with families in the wider systemic context. Additionally, I am actively mentoring, supervising, and training mental health counselors.

My approach to therapy

I am a relationship-driven, person-centered therapist with extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, Gestalt therapy, and neuroscience-based approaches. I work with a diverse population, addressing issues such as adverse childhood experiences (ACE), anxiety, cross-cultural belongingness, depression, domestic violence, generational issues, grief and loss, stress management, religious doubt, substance use/abuse, and trauma.

What you can expect from me

If you have ever broken a bad habit or changed your perspective about something, you have rewired your brain and experienced neurogenesis and neuroplasticity. I believe counseling within a trusting and collaborative relationship is one in which you feel heard. If you currently feel stuck, paralyzed, and overwhelmed with emotional pain, we will work step-by-step to heal, restore, and reclaim ground in authentic hope that creates real change to live a healthy and abundant life.
