Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and understood. My experience includes working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially when you’re used to handling everything on your own. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. We’ll work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and identify meaningful, realistic changes that can help you feel more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I don’t believe therapy should feel like someone simply sitting across from you and asking, “How does that make you feel?” for an hour. I want our conversations to help you understand yourself while also giving you tools you can actually use outside of our sessions.

I incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and strengths-based interventions while tailoring treatment to each individual. Together, we may explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, set boundaries, and manage difficult emotions.

I’ll meet you where you are while also gently challenging you when it can help you grow.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is primarily about getting to know you—not expecting you to tell your entire life story in 60 minutes. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been difficult lately, what you would like to change, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, and current stressors, but the conversation will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll begin identifying your goals and discussing what therapy could look like moving forward.

Most importantly, my goal for the first session is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful that you have a place where you can be yourself without judgment.
