Great to meet you!

I have been working in the field for 14+ years. My underlying belief about therapy is that the relationship matters the most for healing and growth. That is to say, I find connection to be at the core of a solid and helpful therapeutic relationship. I am down-to-earth, authentic and relational. I would never ask a client to do anything I wasn't willing to do myself. I strongly believe in the power of therapy to help us live our best lives.

My approach to therapy

I am a trauma-focused therapist who is EMDR certified. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques but have found EMDR to be very effective in healing emotional hurt and reducing negative thoughts of self. I believe that attachment wounds at young ages impact our relationships in adulthood. By understanding and working through those wounds, we can live happy lives with healthy, connected relationships.

What you can expect from me

Clients who work with me will gain greater self-awareness and insight. Through our therapy together, you will have a stronger understanding of how past events and past individuals impact their mood, anxiety and interpersonal relationships in the present. We will work together to promote healing from past emotional wounds and decrease distress and anxiety. Additionally, clients can expect to focus on decreasing self-judgment and and self-criticism.
