________________________________________________

Hi, I’m Sally Summers, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy for adults, teens, and children, with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, PTSD, bipolar and mood disorders, and stress-related burnout.

My background includes a degree in Psychology and two graduate degrees in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to care- combining evidence-based treatment with a deeper understanding of how your symptoms, lifestyle, and stressors all connect.

Sessions are collaborative, focused, and designed to give you both clarity and direction. You’ll have space to be open and understood, while also gaining practical tools and a treatment plan that actually fits your day-to-day life.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, difficulty focusing, mood changes, or feeling stuck, my goal is to help you feel more steady, confident, and in control- not just in the moment, but long-term.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized. I look at the full picture- not just symptoms, but how your mental health connects to your lifestyle, stressors, relationships, and daily functioning.

I combine medication management with supportive, solution-focused therapy to help you feel better and function better in your everyday life. Treatment is always tailored to you, with a focus on clarity, practical tools, and steady progress over time.

I value open communication and transparency, so you’ll always understand the “why” behind recommendations and feel confident in your treatment plan. The goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered- while also making meaningful, lasting changes.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are calm, collaborative, and focused on understanding the whole picture. We’ll explore both what you’re experiencing and why, so treatment feels meaningful and aligned with your life. I use a combination of medication management and solution-focused therapy to help you feel better and function better every day. Each session is designed to give you clarity, practical tools, and support- not just a prescription. You’ll leave feeling heard, informed, and more confident in your next steps.

The fun details:

Payment & Appointments: I accept both insurance and self-pay. Self-pay rates are $250 for initial evaluations and $185 for follow-up visits. Follow-ups include medication management and refills, typically covering up to 3 months when clinically appropriate.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy: Because your appointment time is reserved just for you, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee ($175 for 30-minute sessions, $200 for 60-minute sessions).

That said, I understand that life happens- if something unexpected comes up, please reach out. I do my best to be flexible when possible, especially if we’re able to reschedule within the same week.
