Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Salvatore, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. Finding the right psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been trying to hold everything together on your own. I work with adolescents and adults who may be feeling anxious, depressed, unfocused, emotionally drained, or stuck in major life stressors. I offer a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and make medication and treatment decisions together at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

I believe psychiatric care should feel like a conversation, not a rushed checklist. I value honesty, trust, and transparency, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, being yourself, and speaking openly about what you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll take time to understand how symptoms are affecting your daily life and what kind of support feels realistic and manageable. When medication is appropriate, I’ll explain options, answer your questions, and involve you in each step of the decision-making process. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and more in control of your care.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a judgment-free space. We’ll talk through what has been feeling difficult, review your history, and discuss what you’re hoping to improve. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start by slowing things down, making sense of what you’re experiencing, and outlining next steps that feel realistic and manageable for you.
