Great to meet you!

I’m Sam, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My background includes over 10 years of experience in the emergency department, crisis stabilization units, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. This experience has shaped the way I approach care delivery: calmly, directly, with a strong focus on safety, trust, and support.

My work includes seeing clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, mood changes, sleep concerns, emotional overwhelm as well as life stressors. I provide medication management and psychiatric evaluations, with the goal of helping clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment plan. Additionally, I offer specialized ketamine treatment as an innovative, evidence-based option for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma-related distress, grief, or burnout.

My approach to therapy

My style is collaborative, positive, and supportive.

My approach to psychiatry is warm, encouraging, and personal. Healing is shaped by our biology, history, culture, relationships, and each person’s unique story. I believe care should be patient-centered and collaborative, helping patients feel empowered, respected, and supported. My goal is to help you build a treatment plan that supports not only symptom relief but also long-term healing.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation to better understand your current symptoms, medications, medical history, stressors, treatment goals and what kind of support you are looking for now.

The goal is to gain a clear understanding of your needs, review initial impressions, and discuss treatment options that may be helpful. Together, we will begin creating a thoughtful, collaborative plan that feels clear, supportive, and personalized to you.
